Greetings from the land down under!
I made it, safe and sound, after quite a turbulent flight. 4 hours in, felt the motion sickness kicking in but thanks to the lovely Qantas stewardess and her medicine, fell asleep and woke up with only 3 hours left. YEY. Thank God for her.
Arrived safely after my luggage exploded (yes, once again) and the sniffing dog at the airport fell in love with my suitcase and sniffed it for about 15 minutes. I think he was a puppy in training because the lady just brushed it off, saying he was smelling other cats and dogs, Puce, Poops and maybe Gaetan =)...
Met Phil, settled in to the apartment, drank some vino, and lasted about 8pm, when Ghost Whisperer couldn't hold my attention anymore. Slept 11 hours, and woke up this morning at 8, feeling refreshed and happy to finally be here. Only have been talking about it for the past 2 months!
Heading to the Melbourne zoo today... to get my animal fix =)
And it's like it was meant to be as this month, it is
a) Melbourne's Food and Wine festival
b) Melbourne's Fashion week.
What else can a girl ask for??????
